Let’s Connect is a first-of-its-kind virtual programme in Abu Dhabi aiming to virtually connect communities and create a sense of social inclusion among Abu Dhabi residents.
The programme is led by community ambassadors representing four categories which were identified as the most popular categories of interest amongst communities: health & wellness, business & coaching, community and arts & culture. Let’s Connect programme includes fun and easy human-centric online activities and talks curated for all members of society to create a sense of social inclusion and belonging among Abu Dhabi residents – regardless of age, gender, nationality, background or ability.
The programme is easily accessible on its official social media pages @letsConnect.ae on Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok and YouTube where volunteers can sign up to take part.
As part of the Authority of Social Contribution – Ma’an’s commitment to increasing community engagement, Ma’an has announced the launch of ‘Let’s Connect’ programme; a 10-week virtual initiative with free participation for communities across Abu Dhabi and the UAE.
Ma’an was established in February 2019 by the Department of Community Development in Abu Dhabi with the aim of bringing together the government, the private sector and civil society to support a culture of social contribution and participation.
Ma’an is part of Abu Dhabi’s development accelerator initiative ‘Ghadan 21’ and was established under the directive of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of UAE and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
